Patroski Lawson, wine consultant and educator, is the founder of Wine Immersion LLC in Washington, DC.  Wine Immersion is a wine education and consulting company designed to encourage enthusiasts to enjoy wine without pretense. 

 

In 2001, Patroski founded the Square Hat Supper & Social Club of Atlanta, which became the largest social club in Atlanta with a database of over 6000 people. In 2010, the social club evolved into the Square Hat Wine Company so that Patroski could focus solely on his passion for wine.  Since then, he has taught wine classes, led wine tastings, dinners and special events in Atlanta, Boston and Washington, DC.  Patroski has also led small wine immersion tours to Napa/Sonoma. His extensive travels throughout Europe and Napa/Sonoma gives Patroski an even greater appreciation for all things wine, food and travel.

 

In 2013, he founded the Executive Wine Lunch Society (EWLS) to foster wine education and fellowship among business executives over lunch. The Society spans multiple industries, disciplines and professional groups in Washington, DC.  The Society meets monthly at various prominent restaurants throughout the city and currently has roughly 200 members.

Patroski is a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) and a well-known wine educator and consultant in Washington, DC. A member of the Society of Wine Educators (SWE), Patroski is also a level one sommelier and a candidate for the French Wine Scholar (FWS) certification.
